This filter cartridge with the standard diameter 2.5" (6.4 cm) is used to filter particle larger than 5 µm and organic dissolved substances. For eliminating organics there is the roule: the lower the flow through the filter the lower the rest concentration of the trace substances. For calculating the maximum flow for adsorbing organic substances there is the roule of thumb: maximum flow (see technical data) devided by 250.

Never close the filter housing by force - use the filter wrench for opening only. If the cartridge is too long, take away the bottom flat gasket of the cartridge.
