Magnesium Tube d110 for wall mounting; for Turbo Chalk Reactor size 4

The Magnesium Tube is built with a transparent tube (impact-resistant PVC) that is fixed on the base plate. The filter material ist retained by a screen and a filter sponges. The cap is screwed-on.

more even power than dosing weekly a magensium fluid or powder
high dissolving characteristics of the pure magnesium containing material

Turbo Magensium Granules or others

This magnesium tube is only suitable for the Turbo Chalk Reactors made of PVC. For the Turbos made of acrylic glass (PMMA) please choose this version.

The Magensium Tube is filled with magnesium contaning filter material (we recommend Turbo Magnesium Granules). The outlet water of lime reactor is trickling down the material (downstream) and dissolve it. The quantity of dissolved matter depends on the CO₂ concentration of the water. The more acid the water, the more magnesium is produced.

The out-coming water flows back to the aquarium and contains magnesium and carbonat hardness / alkalinity.
