The AquaCare Trickling Filter Material is made of a inert polypropylen (PP) and has a very high interspace volume. So it is best for de-gasing stages. This material is suitable in columns of more than 2 m filling height. I is filled in CO2 columns of the Turbo Chalk Reactors size 4 and larger and in de-aeration chamber of the Basic Filter system made of PE (black).
Trickling filter filters can be charged with this material with approx. twice the water output compared to our black PE trickling filter material.
The AquaCare trickling filter materials has following advantages:
- inter material: do not discharge harmful substances
- very high interspace volume
- perfect fo de-gasing and gas enrichment
This medium should not be used in filters with a diameter of less than 150 mm.
