PTFE hose (Tefon hose) is ozone- and UV-resistant - it is particularly suitable for ozone devices.
PTFE is resistant to most chemicals and does not release any substances into the water. In aquaristics it can be used anywhere in or outside the water.
Hoses made of PTFE are inflexible and not very elastic. For some applications small transitions from silicone hose (inner diameter of the silicone hose should be as large as the outer diameter of the Teflon hose) can be used. These transitions should be replaced once a year.
Temperature range: -200 to 260°C
Application: ozone-containing air, reverse osmosis, micro filtration, block filter, air, water, sea water, carbon dioxide
