N-additive for phytoplankton breeding - simply add this medium plus trace elements plus P-additive into fresh sea water and your algae medium is ready.

Concentration 23.6 g N/l (1.685 M)
Dosing 1 ml per liter yields 104 mg/l (ppm) nitrate in the ready algae medium

Other required items:

• breeding tube with lighting
• fresh sea water with high-end quality
• trace elements, e.g. AquaCare Trace Elements for sea water
• P-additive
• algae strain cultures

The N-additive can also be used to increase nitrate levels in extremely nutrient-poor reef aquaria. Do not increase the nitrate level in the aquarium above 20 mg/l!
Dosage: 1 ml per 1000 litres increases the phosphate level by 0.1 mg/l
