Most pumps cannot resist running-dry. If a pressure pump is not pushing water (internal runnning-dry) it may damage.
The pressure switch of the BasiTechTM unit is installed in the sucking line (inlet line) of a pressure pump before the inlet solenoid. If inlet pressure is below the minimum limit the BasiTechTM unit shuts-off the pressure pump.
A restart is only possible by cutting the power supply for some seconds (push the mains plug, wait some seconds and connect is again with the mains).
