The feed water from the aquarium is pumped into the system by means of a bypass of the main pump or an additional feed pump. The water flows from bottom to top through the filter. The phosphate is removed from the water and safely bound by the adsorber.
If the phosphate concentration falls below 0.05 mg/l PO4, the flow should be reduced. If it rises above 0.2 mg/l, please increase the flow rate. The maximum flow rate should not be exceeded, because otherwise the material accumulates on the upper sponge.
If the phosphate concentration in the aquarium rises again, the material must be replaced. - The material should be used in the filter without flushing.
