In cooperation with Poseidon, Nordico realised an exhibition about the sea in 2000, including a round 10,000 litre aquarium made of acrylic glass. AquaCare supplied filter technology and some animals, among others young blacktip reef sharks.
The exhibition lasted only 147 days and attracted over 82,500 visitors, making it the museum's most successful exhibition to date. On some days the number of visitors was so high that the temporary closure had to be reported on the radio. The exhibition was opened by Hans Hass, one of the most famous pioneers in marine conservation.
