Turbo Chalk Reactor
The Turbo Chalk Reactor is a perfect unit to bring soluble chalk (calcium and carbonate hardness / alkalinity) into the aquarium. We recommend a lime reactor for reef tanks starting with 200 litres volumen.
The Turbo Chalk Reactor has following advantages over other lime reactors:
- patented principle
- extreme high efficiency, so it is perfect for hard coral tanks
- 78-82% less free CO2 in the outlet water; no pH drop
- CO2 recycling for economic use
- with optional BasiTech control: no over-dosing of CO2
- maintenance-free inspection glasses for feed water and CO2 supply
- maximum filter bed velocity (upstream technology): no blocking, no channelling
- you do not have to change the material; only fill it up regularly
- collecting of too small particles in the sediment tube
- slightly phosphate removal by chemo-sorption
- magnesium supply with additional magnesium tube (option)
