LSS tank - Basic

There are two ways of accommodating the necessary filter technology (LSS) for an aquarium:

1. The technology is located in a separate part of the aquarium. Usually there is very little space here to make changes or extensions. The maintenance work is not easy, because this chamber is usually installed at the back wall of the aquarium. The advantage is that no drilling in the outer skin of the aquarium is necessary.
2. The filter technology is installed in a separate filter basin. These tanks can be installed next to, behind or under the aquarium. This requires drilling holes* in the aquarium and professionally planned and installed piping. It must also be ensured that no water can overflow in the event of a pump failure.
   * in case of need, there are special overflows or hang-on systems that can be retrofitted to aquariums. 

The entire filter technology must be accommodated in a compact filter basin in order to minimize maintenance work and create maximum safety.
