PP / PVDF fittings (ozone resistant)
If units are driven with ozone containing air the used fittings and hoses must resist ozone. Standard fittings made of POM (AquaCare push fit fittings) or PA (nozzle fittings) are not resistant.
Fittings made of PP are conditionally resistant to ozone (aquaristic ozone concentrations), fittings made of PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) tolerate considerably higher ozone concentrations.
