AquaCare +Globuli (not X-Globuli!) dissolve slowly in the water and let out their ingredients. For best dissolving we recommend the operation in the AquaCare Multi-Function-Filter MF2. With this filter the +Globuli dissolves slowlier in moving bed modus (without central tube) or a little bit faster in vertical flow modus (with central tube). You may mix different +Globuli (not X-Globuli!) in the filter.
For the vertical flow operation you should mention some points. The central tube should not be to deep in the filter: about 5-10 mm ober the bottom cylinder port depending on the kind of Globuli is perfect. The water velocity is important, too.
Dosing for aerob driven filters (moving bed, vertical flow filter) in ultra-low-NP-aquaria:
first take 50 ml POC+Globuli per 100 litres aquarium volume in a suitable filter (moving bed, vertical flow filter, high flow filters); after 2-4 week you may dose up to 200 ml per 100 litres aquarium volume. The discharge water should flow directly into the aquarium - it should not flow into the skimmer.
Dosing for anaerob driven filters (nitrate filters) in medium to highly polluted aquaria:
first take 50 ml POC+Globuli per 100 liters aquarium volume into a suitable filter (nitrate filter - slow flow filters). If the nitrate concentration is not decreased after about 4 weeks you may take more POC+Globuli. Do not use this operation at nitrate concentrations below 5 mg/! The discharge water should flow directly into a skimmer. Never use this operation without a skimmer!
