Organic Supply

Organic Supply

In addition to the inorganic supply, the addition of organic compounds may not be neglected. Especially in ultra-low-NP aquariums, which are characterized by an extreme shortage of phosphate (< 0.05 mg/l) and nitrate (< 5 mg/l), the animals should be supplied with organic substances. On the one hand, more food can simply be fed if the stock of fish allows it. The diet can be qualitatively improved by the use of organic additives (e. g. vitamins, highly unsaturated fatty acids = HUFA or PUFA). It is also possible to add organic particles - whether as suspension or through the AquaCare +Globuli system in a special reactor. With this system the sea snow and phytoplankton can be simulated.
