Drinking water units (reverse osmosis)
The quality of tap water varies greatly from place to place. Substances are repeatedly found in the water that do not belong there. Whether nitrate, pesticide and drug residues, chlorine, radioactive particles, microplastics and residues from industry, e.g. PFT, residues from piping and fittings - water is sometimes not what the consumer imagines.
With the reverse osmosis technology almost all harmful substances are rejected to high percentages - mostly more than 95%. AquaCare reverse osmosis plants work fully automatic and normally no chemicals are needed. Reverse osmosis plants produce table water, which is especially suitable for infant feeding, for sparkling water machines but also for sensitive tropical plants like orchids (tops) and tillandsias. The produced water can also be used for batteries, flat irons and for room humidification. For aquaristics there are simpler plants.
Cases where standard reverse osmosis units should not be used are: raw water contaminated with bacteria, extreme hardness (over 20°dH), water containing iron and manganese, and in cases of mineral deficiency diseases. In these cases, please consult us.
The water-saving 1:1 units should only be used with very soft or fully softened feed water. Ask us if you are not sure whether these plants are the right ones for your water.
