Small filter / bubble counter / sound absorber / inspection glass
If very small water flows are needed the Small Filter should be installed before the adjusting valve. The daily or weekly adjusting of the valve is reduced to some weeks or months. Best for chalk reactors and nitrate filters with small inlet flow. For maintaining every some weeks or months (depending on particle concentration and water flow) change the filter cotton wool.
Alternatively the small small filter is suitable as a silencer for air inlet of injectors (venturis) or dispergators. The connection size should be the same as for the air connection of the injector or dispergator.
For using the small filter as a bubble counter or flow inspection glass (bubble counter) take out the inside filter material.
The small filters of the Smart series are suitable for nano aquariums. They can be filled with different materials.
