ABS-Fittings
You can glue ABS fittings very good with PVC tubes and PVC fittings (PVC glue). It is possible to combine ABS fittings with PMMA (acrylic glass) parts, too (viscous PMMA glue).
For do-it-yourself construction of simple filters these fittings are perfectly applicable.
