Valves
Armatures like ball valves and others are used in pipe works to adjust or control the flow of the inside medium.
To seperate aggregations (e.g. pumps, filters) from the pipe network ball valves are the best choice. But for exact adjustments angle valves or membrane valves are the better alternative. For low flows (e.g. for filters in branch current) you may adjust it with dosing ball valves.
