The Activated Carbon Filter AK is a filter in upstream operation (from the bottom to the top) filled with a high-end activated carbon in pellet configuration. The filter material is holded back by screens. The inlet water is regulated by a ball valve.

Advantages over other activated carbon filters:

connections with PVC tubes of hoses (adapters)

Required accessories:

water inlet with enough pressure (bypass from aquarium main pump or extra pump)

With a bypass from the aquarium main pump or with an extra pump the feed water arrives to the system. The water flow along the activated carbon and is release from harmful substance. The filtered water flows back to the aquarium.

Activated carbon has to be changed regularly.
