These ultra-pure water filters are pressure-resistant and consist of a GRP (glass-fiber reinforced plastic) housing. Inside, the tank is equipped with a polyethylene liner to ensure watertightness. The filter is equipped with a closure at the top, a top nozzle and a nozzle rod for perfect flow through the resin. Filled with a high quality non-regenerated mixed bed resin, the ultrapure water filter is of the highest quality.

The ultrapure water filter is preferably connected downstream of a reverse osmosis system. (However, it can also be connected directly to a drinking water line - but then the capacity is approx. 20 times lower). The resin removes the remaining salt from the pure water of the reverse osmosis system and lowers the electrical conductivity to below 1 µS/cm. Silica that passes through the reverse osmosis system is also safely absorbed.
If the conductivity rises above approx. 3 µS/cm during operation, the resin should be replaced.

The filter is equipped with G3/4" female threads - do not forget to order the appropriate adapters.

Mounting note: Please note that the vessel must always stand on its base. High vessels should be fixed against falling over with a suitable pipe clamp. No great pressure must be applied to the container from the outside.

If the sizes offered here are not enough, we can provide containers up to 5600 liters on request.

These activated carbon filters are pressure-resistant and consist of a GRP housing (glass-fibre reinforced plastic). From the inside, the container is equipped with a polyethylene liner to ensure watertightness. The filter is equipped with a cap at the top, a top nozzle and a nozzle rod for perfect flow through the filter bed. The filter is filled with a high-quality activated carbon in pellet form.

The activated carbon filter is preferably connected in front of a reverse osmosis system. (However, it can also be connected directly to a drinking water pipe - in this case, however, trace substances can only be reliably removed at a considerably lower flow rate).

The activated carbon filling should be replaced every year. The inflowing water must only have a low particle load. Otherwise, the surface of the activated carbon will become soiled and ineffective. If the inflow water is rich in particles, a sediment filter should be installed upstream.

The filter is equipped with G3/4" female threads - do not forget to order the appropriate adapters.

Installation note: Please note that the container must always stand on its base. High tanks should be fixed with a suitable pipe clamp to prevent them from falling over. No great pressure should be exerted on the container from the outside.

If the sizes offered here are not sufficient, we can offer containers up to 5600 litres on request. Automatically flushed systems are also available.

We all know osmotic processes. If you watch ripe black cherries it is possible that they will get ruptured or scared over places after a rain shower. The reason for it is the fact, that the skin of a cherry is a semipermeable membrane. Inside there is a solution with a high ionic concentration (cherry juice contains a lot of sugar and salts) and outside are rain drops with nearly no ions. The only way to balance the inside and outside concentrations is that water is flowing into the cherry - sugar and salts are too big to get through the cherry skin. But the cherry cannot grow so fast and therefore the inside migrating water raises the inside pressure - so called osmotic pressure - until the skin will rupture.

With reverse osmosis techique the principle of osmosis is inverted. At the high concentration side (feed water, e.g. tap water) is a pressure (pump or tap water pressure) that forces the water molecules against their natural migration through the membrane onto the pure water side (permeate side). The salts (e.g. hardnes, nitrate, silicic acid, residues of pesticides and medicine) and other substances (except gases) are nearly not able to pass the membrane because they are too big. So on the permeate side is nearly only water.

With the feed water a constant flow of new substances will reach the membrane. If you do not drain them they will accumulate and heavy soluble salts will precipitate. So a reverse osmosis unit will produce pure water (permeate) AND waste water (concentrate).
