These tanks are ideal for the Basic filter tank; however, can also be used for any technical basin. They are placed one above the other next to the Basic and supply the marine aquarium with fresh seawater for water changes and with refill water to fill up the evaporated water.
The system consists of two individual basins. Reverse osmosis water is filled into the upper basin or connected to the appropriate reverse osmosis control unit. Through a hose connection with the float valve in the basic technical basin, the evaporated water is constantly and drip-precisely refilled.
If the drain valve under the RO chamber is opened, RO water flows into the lower chamber, where fresh seawater can be prepared with a sea salt mixture. With a pump (not in the scope of delivery), the seawater can be pumped into the Basic system for a water change.
