The feed water from the aquarium is pumped into the system by means of a bypass of the main pump or an additional feed pump. The water flows from bottom to top through the filter. The phosphate is removed from the water and safely bound by the adsorber.
If the phosphate concentration falls below 0.05 mg/l PO4, the flow should be reduced. If it rises above 0.2 mg/l, please increase the flow rate. The maximum flow rate should not be exceeded, otherwise the adsorber granules will move and rub off. The abrasion is not harmful, but settles in the aquarium.
If the phosphate concentration in the aquarium rises again, the material must be replaced. - Before the first use, please discard the outlet water until it has lost its brown colour.
