AquaCare MarineSnow+Globuli for use in the circulation reactor VFF (Vertical Flow Filter) or in the moving bed filter MB. These globules simulate the naturally occurring marine snow (reef snow) and supply corals and other filter animals with important organic and inorganic ingredients. The +Globuli dissolve in the VFF within a few days and release evenly their valuable organic substances bound to inorganic carriers into the aquarium water. The filtering animals absorb these particles and recycle the organic matter. The polyp pattern of hard corals, especially SPS, improves. Even azooxanthellate corals can absorb the MarineSnow and thrive better - but they also need to be fed with plankton!
AquaCare MarineSnow+Globuli are characterized by the following features:
- inorganic calcium-based marine snow particles loaded with:
- proteins and amino acids and
- vitamins
Important! The volume of the spheres can decrease due to the storage. Exactly 1 litre bulk volume is filled in the factory. The +globules swell back to their original size in the filter. With smaller shrunk +globules you fill less into the filter! Never top up more than 1/3 of the maximum filter volume in a fluidized filter or vertical flow filter to ensure proper operation.
Important! The liquid in the +Globuli packaging should not get into the aquarium water - the mineral composition of the seawater could be changed.
Important! Do not use the +Globuli directly in the aquarium.
The +Globuli should be stored in the refrigerator at 2-6°C.
A small plastic tea strainer is particularly practical for removing the +Globuli from the tin. A powder hopper is helpful for small diameter filters.
