Activated carbon filter d300 filled with high-performance activated carbon pellets for easy removal of yellow substances, nettle toxins, and medication residues.

This simple filter can be equipped with different sieves and connections. Additional valves (drain, vent) as well as an electrode connection (also retrofitted) can also be added.

Necessary accessories:

water inlet supply with enough pressure (bypass of a main pump of a small pump)
a vent valve in the cover is required for the downstream process

The feed water from the aquarium is pumped into the system by means of a bypass of the main pump or an additional feed pump. The water flows from bottom to top through the filter. The unwanted substances are removed from the water and safely bound by the coal.

We recommend to use the activated carbon only every 1 to 3 months, because activated carbon also removes some desired substances, e.g. iodine. After approx. 1 week filtering the used activated carbon should be removed again. Possibly add trace elements and iodine.

If medication is used, remove the activated carbon beforehand and filter it over activated carbon after treatment according to the instructions of the medication.
