Basic 70: Filter Tank for approx. 300 litres aquaria "R"

This filter basin is suitable for seawater aquariums up to approx. 300 litres. It consists of an inlet chamber, degassing stage for the skimmer and a multifunctional chamber.

1. The effluent from the aquarium flows first into the inlet stage, which can be equipped with heaters, measuring sensors and pre-filtration. This chamber is always filled with water - even if the circulation pump fails, e.g. to avoid heating damage and to keep the sensors of the measuring and control technology always in contact with water.
2. The water then flows into the degassing chamber, where excess gases are drawn out of the water. If the filtration water is not degassed, unsightly air bubbles can be created by the return pump and cloud the view in the aquarium. The water from the skimmer with high discharge should also flow into this chamber to minimize run-off noise (please clarify the necessary connection with us).
3. The water then enters the multifunction chamber. Filters can be used here as desired. The return pump is also here, which pumps the water back into the aquarium. Automatic refills (by means of float switch or float valve) should be installed in this chamber. Additional filters such as MF₂ multifunction filter, PMF phosphate adsorber, FBF fluidized bed filter, AK activated carbon filter, POC filter, globuli filter, KWR lime water reactor, ADN nitrate filter or fish drip chambers (acclimatization chamber) can be installed here.

The filters are manufactured in Germany made of high-quality acrylic glass (no Chinese quality). Modifications or special designs are possible at any time - please contact us. For larger aquariums, our basic filter basins made of "unbreakable" polyethylene are available.
