Polyamide (PA) washers for metric screws - protect screws and e.g. the corresponding flanges.

Screws, nuts and other components can be used in fresh and salt water. Polyamide does not corrode and does not release any substances into the aquarium water and can therefore also be used under water.

Components made of polyamide 6.6 ("nylon)" are, in contrast to metallic materials, very soft and must only be tightened carefully. Tighten the component (screw, nut) hand-tight and tighten it very carefully with a wrench. Only ozone will reduce the service life considerably.
