Retrofit kit for skimmer ACF3000V-060 PMMA (acrylic glass version) to needle wheel operation - additional you need the needle wheel pump "UP8000e skimmer".

For the conversion, the injector or air wood module together with the inlet pump are uninstalled. Connect the "UP5000e-skimmer" pump with the pipe bend directly at the now free inlet of the skimmer.
The air hose is plugged onto the injector connection in the inlet of the needle wheel pump and hooked onto the skimmer's pot lid with the other end. An air regulating valve is required depending on the water level in the filter basin.

Note that the high skimmers can NOT be converted to needle wheel operation!

For the old models made of PVC (gray base) this retrofit kit is needed.

Conversion kit for skimmer ACF3000V-060 PMMA (acrylic glass version) to air wood operation - an air pump is also required.

For the conversion, the injector together with the feed pump or the needle wheel pump with feed bend must be uninstalled. At the now free inlet of the skimmer the gassing module is screwed with the long pipe end. The position of the gassing module can be changed at any time by loosening the union slightly. At the inlet of the gassing module either the universal connector with the red valve can be screwed on or the adapter for the UP5000e pump.
The UP5000e adapter is screwed directly onto the pump. - A silicone hose should be selected for the connection to the supply pump at the red valve. Secure the hose connections with cable ties.
Make sure that a pump with the appropriate power is used.

The gassing module also requires a suitable air pump: use a suitable air check valve or install a safety loop (at least 60 cm in height measured from the air valve) so that no water can run back into the air pump if it should fail or be switched off.
