Algae medium P-additive for phytoplankton breeding

P-additive for phytoplankton breeding - simply add this medium plus trace elements plus N-additive into fresh sea water and your algae medium is ready.

Concentration 3.3 g P/l (0.1053 M)
Dosing 1 ml per liter yields 10 mg/l phosphate in the ready algae medium

Other required items:

• breeding tube with lighting
• fresh sea water with high-end quality
• trace elements, e.g. AquaCare Trace Elements for sea water
• N-additive
• algae strain cultures

The P-additive can also be used to increase phosphate levels in extremely nutrient-poor reef aquaria. Do not allow the phosphate level in the aquarium to rise above 0.20 mg/l!
Dosage: 1 ml per 1000 litres increases the phosphate level by 0.01 mg/l
